Paralisação por uma hora

No primeiro tempo, o jogo durou apenas 17 minutos, quando acabou a luz no estádio e o gramado estava prejudicado pela grande quantidade de chuva que caía naquele momento. Por isso, a partida ficou paralisada por cerca de uma hora, mas acabou retornando.

Alviverde chega ao primeiro gol

Demorou pouco tempo depois da volta para que o Palmeiras chegasse ao primeiro gol e foi logo um golaço. Em uma cobrança de falta do “meio da rua”, Duda Santos acertou uma “bomba” e não deu chances para a goleira adversária, que não alcançou a bola. O time brasileiro já era melhor, mas não acertava a conclusão dos lances.

Gols perdidos e placar ampliado

Ary Borges, que foi uma das melhores em campo, também acabou desperdiçando boas oportunidades de colocar o Palmeiras em maior vantagem no placar em Quito. No entanto, suas companheiras ajudaram na missão. Em jogada de Bia Zaneratto pela esquerda, ela cruzou para a área e Byanca Brasil desviou para fazer o segundo no início do segundo tempo e dar um pouco mais de tranquilidade.

Verdão faz o terceiro e administra o jogo

Seis minutos depois de fazer o segundo gol, o Palmeiras não perdeu tempo e logo colocou o terceiro no placar. Bia Zaneratto recebeu pelo meio, limpou duas adversárias na marcação e bateu firme para ampliar a vantagem. Dali em diante, por conta da dificuldade de jogar em um campo encharcado e com muita chuva, as palmeirenses passaram a administrar o marcador e levaram o 3 a 0 até o final.

E agora?

Com a vitória, o Palmeiras assume a liderança do Grupo C da Libertadores Feminina. Após a primeira rodada, o Verdão leva vantagem no saldo de gols em cima da Universidad de Chile-CHI. Na próxima segunda-feira, às 19h15, o Alviverde recebe o Independiente del Valle-EQU, time da casa, pela segunda rodada da fase de grupos.

Sixers overcame an all-round challenge from Will Sutherland to notch up their eighth straight win over Renegades

Steven Smith smashed a half-century in another statement as Sydney Sixers overcame a superb allround performance from Will Sutherland to edge Melbourne Renegades out at the SCG.In what will be a rare BBL appearance this season, six days before the first Test between Australia and Pakistan, Smith again relished opening the batting to top-score in Sixers’ 175 for 6.No.3 Jake Fraser-McGurk made Sixers’ veteran attack nervous with a furious 48 off 24 balls, but his dismissal just before drinks left Renegades in peril at 78 for 4.Sixers were made to work with Sutherland, having earlier starred with the ball, providing a late twist. He bludgeoned an unbeaten 51 from 30 balls before Sixers secured their eighth straight win over Renegades.Several of the high-profile signings for Renegades, who last season made finals in a bounce back, did not play including Test spinner Nathan Lyon. But legspinner Adam Zampa performed well with 2 for 24 after crossing over from Melbourne Stars.It wasn’t enough for them to break a Sixers hoodoo with Smith once again relishing returning to the BBL.Smith has openly stated his desire to open the batting for Australia at next year’s T20 World Cup having shuffled around the order previously. He auditioned for the role late in last season’s BBL with blistering centuries in consecutive innings.Smith also made a half-century against India during the recent T20I series in his first opportunity to open at the international level.After Sixers were sent into bat, Smith starred with 61 off 42 balls in a knock mixing gorgeous traditional strokes with inventive tennis-like swats. He waited patiently for the strike with opener Josh Philippe hitting a boundary off the first ball of the innings to foreshadow what was ahead.Philippe, once a BBL standout who has endured a torrid run in this season’s Sheffield Shield, was in superb touch with five boundaries in his first 11 deliveries.Smith wasn’t to be overshadowed and made his move in the third over by whipping seamer Tom Rogers through backward square before bludgeoning a six over deep square on the next delivery.With pace having no impact, offspinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman was thrusted into the attack in the powerplay but Smith treated him with disdain by striking three straight boundaries through the offside.Smith raced to 25 off 10 balls as Sixers stormed to 48 for 0 after four overs. Sutherland provided a much-needed breakthrough with his first ball after Philippe chopped on and James Vince fell in similar fashion later in the over. Bowling a hard length, the towering Sutherland led a fightback with a brilliant four-over spell.He was difficult to score off as Smith reverted to unfurling the ramp shot to hit a rare boundary in the middle overs. Smith reached his half-century off 31 balls, but struggled to regain his earlier fluency and eventually holed out to deep midwicket off Zampa.Zampa on his next delivery clean bowled Tom Curran with a brilliant googly to continue Renegades’ stirring comeback. But late hitting from Jordan Silk and Jack Edwards lifted Sixers to a strong total.Renegades’ hopes rested on Fraser-McGurk just two months after he entered the record books for the fastest ever List A century. Wickets fell around him, but Fraser-McGurk was undaunted and whacked 18 runs in the third over off seamer Jackson Bird.He then whipped quick Sean Abbott for six to race to 24 off nine deliveries before pulverising Edwards over long-on and onto the roof.Fraser-McGurk, playing his 26th BBL game, rapidly closed in on a maiden half-century before being bamboozled by a clever slow bumper from veteran quick Ben Dwarshuis.Veteran Aaron Finch overcame a scratchy start to provide support for Sutherland, but Renegades were always pushing an uphill battle. Sutherland tried his best and a huge six off Dwarshuis meant Renegades needed 14 off the last four balls.But Dwarshuis did enough to complete a resilient performance after his father passed away this week.

Hosts take command of first Test with South Africa still trailing by 431 runs

Coming into the Mount Maunganui Test, Rachin Ravindra had never batted in the top six in Test cricket and had all of 73 runs in six innings at 14.60. In just one innings here, the left-hander has more than tripled his numbers on both counts. Given the all-important No. 4 slot, Ravindra cashed in scoring a sparkling 240 to help New Zealand extend their dominance over South Africa on day two of the first Test.South Africa captain and debutant Neil Brand finished with figures of 6 for 119, but Ravindra’s double on the back of Kane Williamson’s 118 helped New Zealand amass 511 in their first innings. Kyle Jamieson struck twice as South Africa ended the second day 80 for 4 still trailing the hosts by a massive 431 runs.Resuming their day on 258 for 2, New Zealand lost Williamson early, but Ravindra continued from where he left on day one. With the second new ball just six overs old, South Africa surprisingly did not go with Tshepo Moreki first up on the second day, instead starting with allrounder Ruan de Swardt and Dane Paterson.Paterson got the wobble seam going his way and induced an edge off Ravindra’s blade with just his second ball but there was no third slip in place to take the catch. Williamson got his first boundary of the day with a thick edge past gully but failed to carry on. Looking to unsettle de Swardt’s consistent wicket-to-wicket lines, he eyed an uncharacteristic cross-batted hoick, but all he could manage was a top edge that ballooned straight up with Moreki taking the catch at mid-on. That ended a 232-run association between Williamson and Ravindra off 472 balls.Having been padded up for ages, Mitchell immediately got going with a full-blooded lofted drive past mid-on. Moreki didn’t have the same kind of nip that he found on day one and was pulled stylishly by Ravindra through midwicket. Duanne Olivier was handed similar treatment before two delicious straight drives helped Ravindra breach the 150 mark in Tests for the first time.Having played circumspect cricket for about four sessions, New Zealand notched up a gear after lunch. Ravindra got his second session underway with a delightful drive past mid-off off de Swardt while Mitchell pulled Dane Paterson with disdain through square leg.Mitchell lofted de Swardt for a straight six but fell soon after courtesy of a stunning caught and bowled by Neil Brand. Mitchell pummeled a tossed-up length ball back but Brand stuck out both hands to his left and plucked out a quite spectacular take much to the shock of Mitchell.Tom Blundell came in and struck a four but soon mistimed a heave to short midwicket who took a low catch. Meanwhile, it was a nervous wait for Ravindra on 199. Ravindra finally reached the milestone by cutting a short-of-a-length ball towards cover as he removed his helmet to soak up the applause. With the double-hundred checked, Ravindra and Phillips decided to go into overdrive adding a 82-run stand off just 71 balls for the sixth wicket.Ravindra notched up the highest score by a New Zealand batter for his maiden Test century when he went past Matthew Sinclair’s 214 but fell minutes before tea cleaned up by Brand for 240. South Africa struck four times in the session, but New Zealand had added 145 runs in 27 overs going at over five an over.New Zealand came looking for some quick runs in the final session and Matt Henry provided that by smashing one four and three sixes in his nine-ball 27. Brand, however, picked the last three wickets first going through Mitchell Santner’s defences and then taking out Henry and Tim Southee in one over to become the first South African spinner to bag a six-for on Test debut.In reply, the South African openers, Brand and Edward Moore, both on debut, held their own for nine overs and a bit. Moore got going with a fierce cut off Southee through point before repeating the shot for a similar result. Brand was more solid in defense getting right behind the line of the ball.Jamieson, however, came on and changed the face of the match. He first sent back Brand with a fuller delivery that threatened to come back in but held its line. Brand, unsure whether to play or leave the delivery fathered a tiny edge to the wicketkeeper. Two balls later debutant Raynard van Tonder was trapped right in front of the stumps by a Jamieson inswinger. Henry then got rid of Moore with a snorter that he could only glove to Conway who rushed in from cover-point to dive and complete a stunning catch as South Africa slipped to 30 for 3 after 15 overs.David Bedingham and Zubayr Hamza, however, took the attack to the opposition. Hamza first struck Henry for two successive fours before Bedingham cracked Southee for three fours in the next over. Bedingham was dropped by Henry at deep backward square leg but barring that looked largely untroubled. The duo added 44 off 53 balls for the fourth wicket before Hamza was castled by Santner.At the end of play on the second day, Bedingham had reached 29 off 39 balls with five fours to his name and had Keegan Peterson for company on 2.

ويواصل أحمد ربيع البرنامج التأهيلي الموضوع له، تحت إشراف الجهاز الطبي للفريق لتجهيزه للمشاركة في التدريبات خلال الفترة المقبلة.

ويستعد الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الزمالك، لمواجهة المقاولون العرب، المقرر لها يوم السبت المقبل في التاسعة مساءً على ستاد القاهرة الدولي في الجولة الثانية لمسابقة الدوري الممتاز.

وكان الزمالك فاز على سيراميكا كليوباترا، بهدفين دون رد، في لقاء الجولة الأولى من عمر منافسات بطولة الدوري المصري الممتاز.

Próximo de viver a sua primeira experiência como técnico, Edinho agradeceu a confiança empregada pelo clube paranaense e deu as primeiras impressões do que deve pautar o seu trabalho onde o primeiro desafio será a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior.

– Claro que agradecer a oportunidade que me foi dada é importante, mas quero ajudar o Maringá a alcançar grandes lugares e revelar jogadores prontos para servir o time principal e o futebol brasileiro. O clube tem pretensões importantes, se organizou e estruturou para isso, quero mostrar que estou ao nível do cargo que ocupo e começar com o pé direito, fazendo uma grande Copa São Paulo.

Edimo Ferreira Campos tem 39 anos e pendurou as chuteiras em 2019, quando atuava com a camisa do Vila Nova-GO. Como jogador, conquistou alguns dos mais importantes títulos da história do Inter comoLibertadores e o Mundial de Clubes, batendo o Barcelona na decisão de 2006, a Recopa Sul-Americana de 2007 e a Sul-Americana de 2008. Além disso, ele também foi campeão do Brasileirão, defendendo o Fluminense, em 2012.

Desde então, Edinho se preparou para estar na beira do gramado fazendo cursos e tirando as licenças necessárias.

– Além da estrutura física e organizacional do clube, encontrei um trabalho bem feito e garotos de muito potencial, com qualidades visíveis. Vamos concentrar nossos esforços em criar um padrão tático forte que crie condições para que a parte técnica dos nossos jogadores, e suas principais virtudes, apareçam e nos ajudem a competir bem durante toda a temporada – concluiu.

لويس ورد أنه تلقى عرضًا للرحيل عن صفوف مانشستر سيتي خلال فترة الميركاتو الصيفي الحالي، وسط رغبة نادي نوتينجهام فورست في ضم الظهير الأيمن.

وفي تصريحات نقلتها “مانشستر إيفننج نيوز”، أشار لويس إلى أن رغبته الأولى والأخيرة هي الاستمرار في صفوف مانشستر سيتي خلال الموسم المقبل.

وقال لويس: ”الأمر صعب؛ الجميع يريد الحصول على ضمانات، ولكن في النهاية، علي أن أؤدي بشكل جيد، إذا اغتنمت الفرصة، فسأفعل، وإن لم ألعب، فعلي أن أعمل وأتطور”.

وأضاف: “في الموسم الماضي، لعبت أكثر من الموسم الذي سبقه، وهذا الموسم أريد أن ألعب أكثر من الموسم الماضي، لذا الهدف واحد دائمًا، أن أصبح لاعبًا أساسيًا”.

وأوضح: “هناك دائمًا شغف، ولكن قد يكون هناك شغف إضافي الآن، فليس لقب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز هو ما ندافع عنه، هناك هدف نسعى لتحقيقه، ولكنه موسم جديد والجميع يسعون لتقديم مستوى جيد”.

وأردف: “لدينا طاقم جديد ولاعبون جدد، وهذا يحدث كل موسم، أعتقد أن عدد مرات حدوث ذلك يختلف، لكنني أعتقد أن النادي بارع جدًا في دمج اللاعبين الجدد، مما يجعل الأمر سلسًا للغاية”.

وأتم ريكو: “نحن نريد نسيان الموسم الماضي بقدر ما نستطيع، لكنه في أذهاننا، ويمكننا القول إنه يغذي حماسنا، لكننا نركز بشدة على هذا الموسم، لقد حصلنا بالفعل على كأس العالم للأندية عام 2023، لذا نشعر بأننا أقوى بكثير، معًا كفريق واحد، نشعر وكأننا وحدة واحدة”.

ولعب لويس بشكل أساسي خلال لقاء مانشستر سيتي مع ولفرهامبتون أمس السبت بالجولة الأولى من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، ونجحوا في تحقيق الفوز برباعية نظيفة.
