But the transfer news doesn’t stop there, as according to a report from Spain, Villa have expressed an interest in signing Ferran Torres from Barcelona. It is claimed that the Premier League side have been keeping a close eye on the Spain international this summer but do face competition from teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool.

However, Villa are considered the team most likely to make a move for Torres, as Emery has given his approval to the signing, as he believes he will fit into his attacking system. Torres has been a key player for Barcelona this season, but the Spanish giants still need to clean up their accounts, and therefore, they would be willing to listen to offers of around 35 to 40 million euros for Torres.

Aston Villa now keen on signing £54m Atalanta star Lookman

While Emery has given the green light for Torres, he is not the only wide player they are interested in signing, as according to Caught Offside, Aston Villa are keeping a close eye on Ademola Lookman, who is expected to leave Atalanta at the end of the campaign.

The report states that as well as Villa closely monitoring Lookman, several Premier League teams such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are all doing the same as well. The 27-year-old, who has been at Atalanta since August 2022, is expected to leave this summer, as he will enter the final year of his contract.

Lookman, who has been described as “exceptional” by former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o, is said to be available for a transfer for around €65 million, which is roughly £54 million. As well as facing a fight from the Premier League, Villa also face a battle to win Lookman’s signature from Spanish giants Barcelona.

That is because the La Liga side have already contacted the player’s agents regarding a move to Spain this summer, but their ongoing financial problems mean it may be hard for them to complete a transfer. Atlético Madrid and Juventus are also keeping a close eye on Lookman’s situation.

Fábio Wollf, especialista em marketing esportivo e sócio-diretor da Wolff Sports, corrobora da opinião.

– O direito constitucional à liberdade de consciência e de crença é inviolável, de modo que acredito que a Nike deveria concordar em imprimir o nome desejado pelo consumidor, desde que este assine um termo de responsabilidade em relação ao termo utilizado.

– Estamos acostumados a vencer no futebol e ter grandes talentos, isso gera uma conexão enorme com o público. Ainda que muitas vezes as coisas em campo não caminhem tão bem, fora dele a seleção possui um grande apelo, é uma marca valorizada – apontou Salviano.

No site da Nike, cada camisa oficial da seleção custa R$ 349,99, valor equivalente a quase 30% do salário mínimo no país. Mesmo assim, o manto azul do Brasil se esgotou em poucas horas em 8 de agosto, primeiro dia de vendas dos novos uniformes. A fornecedora já disponibilizou um novo lote aos torcedores.

Though, in my defence, this is far from a pained reference. Bazball’s slightly less exciting cousin, Pakball (or officially, the Pakistan Way), is very real, and we have to talk about it.To briefly recap, Pakistan had not won a Test match in 12 months, a period in which they were engulfed by a brand of cricket that can only be described as… woah, sorry dozed off for a minute there… played against a Sri Lanka side that, of late, have had only one way of winning Tests at home – playing exclusively in Galle.Quite honestly, the scene could not have been better set for a Galle classic, one that would have called for rain, a staunch rearguard by the visiting side, and a final-day Prabath Jayasuriya-led capitulation. But the OG agents of chaos that are Pakistan didn’t follow the script. To be fair, they hadn’t followed it last year either, but that win in 2022 was more conventional.Sri Lanka had no answer. Sure, Jayasuriya picked up some more wickets, but he himself might confess they were the least enjoyable he has ever grabbed in Galle. Pakistan skipped along at four an over for most of the Test, playing genuinely exciting cricket, while fans of both sides were left more than a little bemused as to what they were witnessing.So here we are looking ahead to the second Test at the SSC, a ground where the trials by spin will presumably be less and one where the batters could conceivably bat even more freely. كشفت تقارير صحفية موقف الدولي الهولندي فرينكي دي يونج، لاعب الفريق الأول للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي برشلونة، من تجديد عقده مع الفريق خلال الفترة المقبلة.

وكان تجديد عقود جميع لاعبي الفريق الأساسيين من أهم أهداف ديكو، المدير الرياضي لبرشلونة في بداية الموسم الماضي، والهدف هو تعزيز الفريق بـ لاعبين واعدين.

وبالفعل نجحت إدارة برشلونة في تجديد عقود نجوم الفريق رويدًا رويدًا أمثال، لامين يامال، جافي، كوبارسي، أراوخو، فيرمين وكاسادو إلا أن هناك لاعبًا واحدًا لم يتم التوصل إلى اتفاق معه بعد وهو فرينكي دي يونج.

وبدأت بالفعل المفاوضات بين نجم خط الوسط البلوجرانا والإدارة في الموسم الماضي، على تجديد عقده لكن بدون زيادة في راتبه وهو الأمر الذي رفضه اللاعب ووكيل أعماله.

لكن في الثلث الأخير من الموسم تغيرت كل الأمور بعد قيادة فليك الفريق للمنافسة على كل الألقاب حتى الرمق الأخير والفوز بالثلاثية المحلية “الدوري وكأس الملك والسوبر”، وبات الهولندي يريد الاستمرار مع فريقه وتجديد عقده.
